Otters - Isle of Mull (Spring/Summer 2018 - Winter 2019)
There are very few places left in the UK where one can really feel the wilderness and remoteness of Mull. No wonder it is home to many of the UK's iconic birds and mammals, and not to mention the breathtaking landscape of the island.
I have been returning to Mull for a few years now and have gained a fair knowledge of the island and where to photograph most of its wildlife. So why not join me on a truly wild and memorable experience!
As this is Spring/Summer time we will have to take full advantage of the daylight available. So usually we would get out in the field after breakfast by 8:00. We would return just after 7:00pm. (Winter workshops vary due to shorter days).
The days will be spent exploring the key locations where we are likely to see the otters. Please keep in mind that a lot of patience is needed driving, sitting and waiting sometimes in the vehicle and sometimes out in the wild at these locations.
Once we have a sighting I will guide you into position to get the best shots of the otters. We will also have time to see and photograph buzzards, waders, red deer, fallow deer and maybe an eagle!
